Work one-on-one with a registered professional Kinesiologist who uses a detailed focus to assist you in reaching your rehabilitation and fitness goals while using a whole-body holistic approach. For example, we work alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, occupational therapists, and counsellors. If anything is out of our scope of practice, we strongly believe in referring clients to other healthcare practitioners. We want to help you move more optimally and functionally while focusing on education, realignment, and re-patterning so you can achieve your personal fitness and health goals.
Recovering from an injury impacts your entire life and here at Vibrance Active Rehab we strive to understand how the injury has affected your entire movement pattern, lifestyle, and mindset and how to assist you in moving forward with confidence.
Our goal is to address problem areas and create a balanced evidence-based prescription plan for stretching, strengthening, conditioning (cardio) and functional movement patterns.
At Vibrance Active Rehab, our programs also incorporate mindfulness and breathwork to assist with pain management. We educate on how the nervous system and chronic pain are connected. We also have programs on stretching and deep breathing with a rehabilitation focus which can be modified to accommodate your current ROM (range of motion). As well as, we provide self-release techniques to help you manage your pain and muscle tension symptoms.
We provide personal training services with a focus on active rehabilitation. For example, understanding functional movement patterns in squatting and deadlifting to prevent injury as you continue to strengthen and further your fitness goals. Furthermore, we have assisted professional athletes and dancers on how to improve their body mechanics and provided rehabilitation programs. Training will be based on your needs and be taken in an approach to decrease risk of injury in the future. Many people have expressed feeling hesitant to further their strengthening goals due to current or past pain symptoms from a sport, personal, dance, or car accident injury and we address how you can move forward in a safe manner.
ICBC claims are direct billed which means you do not have to worry about the hassle of paying after every session. We will submit a request to your claim specialist/adjuster and invoice directly to ICBC.
